Points North –  From Maine, southeastern New Hampshire and Boston Area: From Maine take I 95 South to I 93 South through Boston. From New Hampshire take I 93 South through Boston. Once through Boston stay on I 93 South (which is also Route 3 and is called the Southeast Expressway).

At the split (Exit 7, sign reads Braintree/Cape Cod), bear RIGHT and travel South on I 93 (Do not go towards Cape Cod!)  Two miles up, merge LEFT onto Route 24 South (Signs read Brockton/Fall River) Remember that Route 24 South exits to the LEFT.

Stay on Route 24 South 38 miles until you reach Fall River area. Merge LEFT onto I 195 East (it’s a split, you must go left or right). Once on I 195 East, move to right lane. One mile ahead exit onto Route 88 South, Exit 10. Sign reads Westport/Horseneck Beach. Follow Local below:

South western New Hampshire, west of Boston: If you’re near Route 128, follow South, picking up I 93 North (yes, this is weird, you’ll see signs saying you’re on 128 South and I 93 North on the same pole!)  Stay on I 93 North and 128 South, passing Blue Hills Reservation area in Canton. Three miles up, exit RIGHT onto Route 24 South. (Sign reads Brockton/Fall River)

Stay on Route 24 South 38 miles until you reach Fall River area. Merge LEFT onto I 195 East (it’s a split, you must go left or right). Once on I 195 East, move to right lane. One mile ahead exit onto Route 88 South, Exit 10. Sign reads Westport/Horseneck Beach. Follow Local below:

Central Mass: Take I 90.MA Pike East to I 495 South. (Or, use Route 146 below) Once on I 495 South, its about a 35 minute ride to next exit. Exit onto Route 24 South, Exit 7B.

Stay on Route 24 South until you reach Fall River area. Merge LEFT onto I 195 East (it’s a split, you must go left or right). Once on I 195 East, move to right lane. One mile ahead exit onto Route 88 South, Exit 10. Sign reads Westport/Horseneck Beach. Follow Local below.

Route 146: You can also consider picking up Route 146 South from the Mass Pike in Worcester. This route saves about 20 minutes travel time, but requires watching route signs more carefully. Take 146 South, which merges with I 95 South in Providence, RI. Once on I 95 South, get into either of two far left lanes to exit LEFT onto I 195 East. Follow RI/Providence directions below.

Western Mass, CT, VT: From Hartford CT area, take I 84 North to Mass Pike. Follow Central Mass directions above. From VT, take I 91 South to Mass Pike East. Follow Central Mass directions above.

Rhode Island/Providence: Pickup I 195 East in Providence. Pass over Braga Bridge and through Fall River, staying on I 195 East. Once past Fall River, notice reservoir to right. One mile ahead exit onto Route 88 South. Sign reads Westport/Horseneck Beach. Follow Local below.

From Cape Cod: Once over bridge (either one, your choice!) pickup Route 25 West. Take I 195 West (Exit 1). Stay on I 195 West, passing through New Bedford and Dartmouth. Take Route 88 South. Sign reads Westport/Horseneck Beech. Follow local below.

Local: Once onto Route 88 South, (Exit 10) travel 7.5 miles (through three sets of lights) Take RIGHT onto Hix Bridge Road (Ice cream stand on your left after you turn), Westport Police and Fire Stations on immediate right.  Just ahead, go RIGHT at stop sign onto Main Road. Meetinghouse and Friends Community House on right just after Town’s Beech Grove Cemetery.
